Starting from Helsinki-Vantaa airport, your guide will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall after your plane arrival.
Your guide Arja or Timo will meet you and proceed with you to the airport train station underground and ride to the center of Helsinki with you.
You will have a walking tour in the city area for approximately 3 hours, and have some stops in the most visited locations of the Helsinki city center.
Sibelius park is located rather far away from the center, and as this is a walking tour, it is not included in the tour. We will see the famous Rock Church, the architectural pearl of the city. This church was built by exploding the rock away from a hill, in stead of building the church on top of the hill. This is a "must-to-see" attraction in Helsinki.
We will continue our tour to the Public Library Oodi, which has won many architectural prizes. This a magnificient place to see, and here you will find why Finns are sometimes called "happy taxpayers" - here you can see what kind of public services our socity is providing with our taxmoney.
From Oodi we will continue our tour to the Senate and Market Squares and the Esplanade Park.
Our tour continues by returning to the airport with a commuter train and ends at the departure hall.
